70% of voters from an online poll say “My best dives have been made in the rain”
Thankfully the sun is now out after a week of one Summer shower after another.
We still dived everyday and saw some amazing aquatic life, including eagle rays, reef sharks, turtles and more. Truly the fish life doen’t mind - some could say the fish become more energized.
And, as for us humans, it was a wonderful way to enjoy every minute of our time on the island. Dive, relax, indulge!
We also did an online poll to find out your views on the statement. “My best dives have been made in the rain!”
70% agreed, 15% said didn’t know and 15% said they’d rather stay in bed.
A big misconception is that because the sun is not out the visibility is reduced. It is not quite of bright or light, but clairty often remains unchanged at Tokoriki. This is because we are located quite far offshore from any major rivers or island run off, which may impact clarity.
So next time we have a rainy spell - try diving. After all 70% of you said: “My best dives have been made in the rain.”
