Do you offer daily scuba dives for certified divers?Tokoriki Diving runs three certified day dives daily and night dives on request. Each is a single-tank dive.
Dive 1: leaves 9:00 AM, back ~10:45 AM
Dive 2: leaves 11:00 AM, back ~1:00 PM
Dive 3: leaves 2:30 PM, back ~4:00 PM
You can do two back-to-back dives (commonly known as a two tank dive): the first dive departs at 9:00 AM, returning to Tokoriki Island Resort for a surface interval, then goes out again at 11:00 AM.
If you prefer to do just a single tank dive elect to do either the 9.00 am, 11.00 am or 2.30 pm dive.
Night dives leave just before dusk; (night dive bookings and payment must be made before 4:30 pm).
I am staying at the Sheraton Tokoriki can I dive with you?Yes. Tokoriki Island Resort, where we are based, is a 5–10 minute walk from Sheraton Tokoriki. If you are 16 or older, you can join any of our dive trips, or book any of our PADI experiences and courses.
Please contact us before you arrive so we know to expect you.

Tokoriki Island Resort is a private adults-only resort.
How do I book my dives?For future dive bookings email us — we’ll reply within 24 hours, usually sooner, and can give full details.
If you’re on Tokoriki Island now and want to go diving in the next day or two please WhatsApp us — if we miss your call leave a message and we’ll reply within a few hours.
Scuba dives are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and fill quickly in peak season. Our advise is to always book ahead.
If I am hiring your dive gear what equipment will I receive?Scuba tank (tell us when booking if you need extra large or extra small - otherwise we will assume you require a standard size).
Weights (belt or integrated — tell us your preference when booking).
BCD with safety signaling device.
Regulator, dive computer, and submersible pressure gauge.
Wetsuits: most sizes available — 2mm short, 5mm short, and some 5mm long.
Quality masks and open‑heel or full‑foot fins — we do not supply booties; our open‑heel fins are meant to be worn without a bootie.
I haven't dived in some time. I would like to dive, but feel a little bit anxious. Can you help?It’s absolutely normal to feel a little bit anxious, if it’s your first dive in a while.

Complimentary pool refresher
Easy diving to Fiji’s best beginner dive sites (easy and sheltered, but packed full of aquatic life)!
Small group size
Flexible diving plans - single or two tank dives.
The complimentary refresher takes around 30 minutes including pre dive registration and trying on your dive gear. It gives you a chance to breathe underwater, orient yourself to your dive equipment, practice some dive skills and get to know your PADI dive leader.
All Tokoriki Dives have a high ratio of PADI Pros: divers. Group size is always small.
What should I bring with me for my dive?Proof of certification.
Swimwear and T-shirt or sun cover.
Reef-safe sunscreen.
Sunglasses and hat.
Towels and drinking water provided.
Anything you do not wish to take on to the dive boat can be stored in the dive shop.
What’s the weather, vis and water temperature going to be like?Fiji has two main seasons: dry (winter) and rainy (summer).
Tokoriki Island, in the Mamanuca group, gets the most sun and least rain in Fiji and lies far from big rivers, so water is usually clear even in the rainy season.
Dry season / Winter (May–October)
Warm days (up to 28°C-82°F), cool nights (around 20°C-68°F), low humidity, excellent water clarity (~30 m-98 ft), less rain.
Sea can be cooler (around 24°C-75°F) and it can be windy from the southeast.
Wet season / Summer (November–April)
Hot days (up to to 31°C–88°F), warm nights (around 26°C-79°F), high humidity, warm sea (28–30°C / 82–86°F), generally calm seas.
Afternoon/evening showers common, and water visibility can vary (best ~30+ m/98+ ft; worst ~15 m/49 ft).
Occasional tropical storms. Very occasional cyclones.
Where is Tokoriki Diving located?Tokoriki Diving is on the beachfront at Tokoriki Island Resort, beside the jetty.
Our shop is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for bookings. Download the resort map to find us.
If you’re staying at the Sheraton, enter at the helicopter pad end of the beach and follow the garden path behind the beachfront pool villas to the main resort area.
We don’t pick up or drop off at the Sheraton. Our dive boat is moored in front of our PADI 5‑Star Dive Centre at Tokoriki Island Resort.
Boarding and disembarkation take place on/off our jetty.
Do I have to pay for my scuba dives straight away and how do I pay?You don’t need to pay for dives in advance unless you prefer to.
Confirm and pay when you arrive on Tokoriki Island.
If you stay at Tokoriki Island Resort, dive fees will be added to your room bill.
If you stay at Sheraton Tokoriki, pay at Tokoriki Island Resort Reception.
Tokoriki Island Resort does take cash, as well as all major bank cards. Please note there is a 3% bank surcharge on card payments. This is not included in our pricing.
If I don't have my dive license can I dive with you?If you are a certified diver but forgot your license, we can do a Dive Check depending on your agency and give a complimentary pool refresher if needed.
If you are not certified and want to learn or try diving, contact us. We offer beginner experiences and PADI courses.
Tokoriki Island’s dive sites are ideal for beginners: shallow, sheltered, close to shore, and full of fish. Combined with Tokoriki Diving’s strong reputation, it’s a great place to start diving.

What’s your dive group size?Student/Beginner divers: 1 Instructor: 2 beginners.
Certified Divers: maximum of 1 PADI Pro: 4 certified divers.
Maximum number of divers on dive boat: maximum of 10 plus crew.
Typical size: 4-6 certified divers + crew.
Will you look after my dive gear while I stay on Tokoriki Island?If you bring your own dive gear (BCD, regs, wetsuit, fins), you can store it in our Dive Centre during your stay. We will assemble, load onto the boat, disassemble, wash, and dry your gear. Please take care of smaller items like wrist computers, spares, mask, and snorkel.
If you are staying at the Sheraton the concierge will assist you with arranging a complimentary golf buggy to bring you and your dive gear over to us.
