Sand Bar + Snorkel

A pristine South Pacific sand bar surrounded by beautiful reef - what could be better? Snorkel, swim or just sit on the beach hand in hand with your loved one. Incredible photographic opportunites abound.

Need To Know - Sand Bar + Snorkel

Trip Schedule:

  • Any day, any time, depending on availability and tides, but we recommend scheduling the Sand Bar + Snorkel experience for early mornings with a departure at 8.30 am, returning about 10.45 am (2 + hours). This means the sandbar is likely to be deserted and the light better for photography.

The Sacred Islands

Culturally significant and astoundingly beautiful, the Sacred Islands are one of Fiji’s best kept secrets, hidden at the northern end of the Mamanuca group. Start your adventure with an offering to the Gods - a couple of coconuts will do! If you like to play games, then we’ll give you a riddle to solve, which may (or may not) lead you to a Geocache. Find it, and you can leave a small token behind for the next adventurer. Or enjoy a beach walk, a refreshing snorkel and plenty of time to sit back and share the view with your loved one.

Private Snorkel Safari

The Tokoriki Diving team have over twenty five years of exploring the many reefs of the Mamanuca Islands. For your Guided Snorkel Safari we have selected a couple of our favourite shallower reefs ideal for the intrepid snorkeller.

Excellent hard coral, and regular turtle, shark and ray sightings, make this Guided Snorkel Safari a holiday highlight for many.  An experienced marine guide accompanies you to point out interesting aquatic life and show you the best spots, and with just three people in the water (you, your loved one and your guide), you are more likely to tick off ‘must see’ species on your bucket list than if you were part of a larger group.

Monuriki + Snorkel Safari

Combine two of our most popular small group tours - a great way of saving time and cost. Typically you’ll start your experience by snorkelling with a marine guide on two of our area’s loveliest reefs. Once you’ve got all salty we’ll take you ashore on Monuriki Island for a guided walk. As sunset approaches the boat cruises back to Tokoriki in time for ‘Happy Hour’.

Trip Schedule:

  • Any day dependent on availability and tides. In order to avoid other adventurers on Monuriki Island we recommend a 2.00 pm departure, getting you back to Tokoriki by 5.30 pm.

Introduction to Snorkelling

Perfect for the new or nervous snorkeller, join your Instructor for a pool lesson to cover the basics of breathing and buoyancy. Then a short boat trip to our wonderful home reef where you’ll experience the underwater world with the comfort of a professional at your side.
